Cooked a giant turkey and a million other dishes - it was my off-year with starwoman's family at our home. But then I fled to Philly for my high school reunion. It was great -- I love reunions -- but this was the first where I had trouble recognizing people. I could swear that people were pretending to recognize me after reading my name tag, out of embarrassment for forgetting. I had numerous heartfelt hugs and meaningful kisses from women I had never met in my life!

I did met an interesting woman -- the wife of a classmate -- who is a big reader, and we got around to the fact that she liked Cyteen, so who knows? One day we may all know her here...

Dear Star -- don't you know that at reunions you get to see how OLD everyone else got? (After the last reunion I got a "change of email address" notice from someone ... and I have absolutely no idea who she is.)

Thanksgiving is over. The children are gone; the house is empty. First time I could hear myself think in a week! But I miss them already. They left at 9:00 this morning.

The Mrs and I went to a restaurant together. It's the first time we'd been alone since the Horde assembled for the feast.

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it and happy holidays to all.
