I'm in the USAF Reserve. It's getting more like active duty all the time. =)

It's probably more like active duty than active duty itself is...garrisons tend to get tied down where they are, rotating small elements (a battalion here, a company there) into the combat zones as they can spare; reservists aren't so lucky as to have countervailing obligations and requirements...

I was active Army, my last post, Ft. Carson, was in a heavily AF area, Colorado Springs. (Peterson AFB, NORAD, the Academy...)
