One notes, now that the blog is updated, reference is made to a new book. Is it the next in the Foreigner sequence?

It will be FOREIGNER #11 - if I haven't lost count! :grin

Conspirator is #10 -- again, if I haven't lost count. :baji

The one after that should be "Receiver". And if there is, maybe, a final capstone 13th novel, "Transceiver."

I still think "Klesmer" should have been in there somewhere though.

Titles We Will Never See: More Fun Than Dictating, Part II

Not the original thread (which Hacker-Dude :shoot: may have nuked) -- but fun anyway, if you get past how Yuku trashed our old site:

but I wondered how long on average between sending the book off and it being in the shops?

Kyran, if one has the self-discipline to not devour :cherryh: books "without salt", it's probably best to continue in that manner -- as long as one can keep it up. Do let us know how long you can keep that personal resolution, :atwink it ranks right up there with "How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie-roll center of a Tootsie Pop?" :grin

(The answer, if you've never seen that old commercial, is a felicitous THREE! Because, the joke goes, one can't resist simply crunching into the pop after the first two licks...)

Kyran-ji, in another thread it was said that

In the past, the Divine One  :cherryh: has said it is approximately eight months between the time the manuscript is accepted and the day the completed book hits the bookstore shelves.

And HIGHLANDER does sound wonderful~! xD I wonder if Bren would also find his ancient roots.... (Have a song called Heart of the Highland playing in my mind now.)
