The big pines & other trees on the left side are not pictured because I framed the pic to show as much house as possible. |

Nice place. Quite cozy looking. Good idea to pass on that plaid set up! One does suspect that the Goddess is wielding a cordless automatic screwdriver. |

WOW!!! Looks like they are really happy in that one pic!!! Maybe that's a mini- drill nand' :cherryh: is holding? Do they like gardening? Cause all that bare grass in front would be great with tulips, daffodils ect. That living room paint sure does look bright- ow!! But, now they have their very own personal home to do whatever they want with. YIPPEE!!! :bunny7: :bunny7: :bunny7: |

This is from 2 days ago: the color finally selected for the living room. It looks great. The other was waaaay too bright & "beach-y". As of yesterday, the kitchen was completely painted, the living room nearly so. Huge progress is being made daily, in many arenas including painting. Posted Image The fish tank will go in this corner. |

I :salad: the living room color- very calm and soothing and yet not too "quiet" as to be boring. But please- how many rooms in this house? It doesn't look all that big in the pics. How big are they? P.S. Jane's piano looks exactly like my torture instrument! |

The house is far bigger than it appears from the curb. Main floor: Very large living room, with brick fireplace. Office (originally, a 3rd bedroom). 2 bedrooms, incl. one which is unbelievably huge (Jane has LOTS of clothes, so Carolyn told her to take the big bedroom with the extra closets). 1 bathroom, with :bath. Galley-style kitchen, which opens up into a dining room. This area will also have the china cabinet (displaying the Campbell Award & 3 Hugos :D). Pantry, as part of the kitchen. Coat closet. Back mud porch. Basement: Finished half: Craft room -- large -- with brick fireplace. Library. Unfinished half: Laundry area. Storage. Furnace. I believe the house is ~3,000 square feet, total. 2-car garage, with lots of storage room. |

Kitchen, before painting finished. A very pretty yellow: one is certain Carolyn will eventually post the full decorating details in Her blog. Posted Image The pantry looks very cool, & I'm not sure if the photo can fully do it justice. Carolyn painted it a very vivid yellow-orange that *glows*. It is located behind the short wall just beyond the ceiling fan in the top pic. Posted Image |

Winter -- on & off. It got down to 20 degrees last night -- but for the past few days it's been sunny & 50+ during the day. I think we're done with snow, however. |

It all looks so lovely. Kudos to the "Tau Ceti Home Renovation Crew". You are all doing such a fine job. Wondering if there is a full porch or patio in the backyard (saw the mud-porch note) ... and hopefully a nice view of something? Anyway congratulations to all involved. LW PS. What is that strange thing plugged into the ceiling above the front door? Outdoor space heater? |

There is a small fenced backyard, with a small concrete patio and flowerbeds which need work, as you could see from the crocus photo. The odd square box is a lighted sign, with the house number. I don't know if it works. |
