My favorite SciFi-influenced rockers are going on tour!
Stops include Pittsburgh, NYC, Cincinnati, Wheeling (WV).

Major Arcana is a "concept" concert, using a video narration and the theme of tarot cards to piece together a night of Sunspot original music. Check them out if they swing near you!

Sounds and looks interesting, but I note they're not coming here to the outer colonies. ateviwink.gif

A quick google shows I can source the Cynical cd via Redeye in Sydney. I might have to indulge ...

As the album title suggests, Cynical has the highest percentage of darker material, but it remains one of my favorites. Does CDBaby deliver Down Under? Their music can also be previewed and purchased as digital downloads via sunspot.bandcamp.com You can pull up almost all of their music videos (especially from Singularilty, their last release) on Youtube. Best to use a song title, like "Grand Guignol", with the band name, otherwise search comes up with Sunspot Jonez or other artists. "Sunspot Road Mania" will get you their travel vid-blogs.

IMO, the definitive studio version of "Prozac Girl" is on their first album, Radio Free Earth -- didn't like the reprise on Loser of the Year. But I don't like the opening on RFE's 2nd track, Artificial Gravity. They do a better job of it now, live, with a few years of experience under their belt. When they do material that old...

In any case, happy surfing!

I love "Prozac Girl"!

I fell in love with their snappy and memorable lyrics the moment I first heard them, back in 2005.
