I just bought my attending membership, before the rates go up after midnight tomorrow (Monday, August 31).

Darcy and I bought our memberships in Montreal.
 Now comes the saving up the money to manage the trip (and post-con sightseeing). We have a budget set up. Fingers crossed no surprise expenses crop up.  -------------------- Everybody lives, Rose ... EVERYBODY lives!

I don't think there is any way I can afford either the time or money needed to attend. Reno in 2011 will most likely be my next Worldcon.

I will be attending the Worldcon in Australia next year. I will also be helping with programming at the NASFiC in Raleigh. This is my thing. :)

It's getting closer. I'll be booking my hotel and travel soon.

Unless something really major happens, I won't be there unfortunately.
But I checked it out, theoretically it's possible to make the decision about one week before going to be on the safe side. Even closer if one wants to gamble on the time it takes to get a temporary passport. --------------------  |

Sutac, AvT & marahsk are attending. They typically go to Worldcon early as they help out with various organizational tasks. You might PM them.

Darcy and I will be there too. We're travelling to NZ prior to WorldCon but will be arriving in Melbourne on 2 Sept and departing 6 Sept. Hope to see you there!

I was thinking about Worldcon (since, really, I'm not that far away now :P), but I think we're a bit tired of traveling right now, lol. Maybe next time! I'm sure you all will have fun in the meantime.
